Springboard's FutureChef Programme has been designed to engage chefs and industry professionals in working with schools and inspire careers in Hospitality at a local level throughout the UK.
The programme is aimed at young people between the ages of 12-16 years old where they are currently making decisions around their career choices post 16. Therefore Springboard's FutureChef is a flexible platform to promote the industry and most importantly engage young adults into your business.
The Programme delivery requires Industry Professionals including Chefs to work with a local school and provide demonstrations, skill based challenges, ambassador activities and work experience. In order to deliver to the school's curriculum we have prepared an easy to follow toolkit to support with the demonstration led activities. Likewise you will also find on this website Coaching Cards designed to give to the teachers and students as a hand out - containing all of the underpinning knowledge for the topic. Your intervention can take part as a Look and Learn demonstration, a Have a Go which involves demonstration and a cookery lesson, an industry talk on advice and guidance on cutting it within the industry or directly in your business as a work experience.
